Pre-Pay Enquiry Terms & Conditions


1. Terms

All pre-payments for The Wolseley restaurant, provisional or confirmed, are made upon, and are subject to, the following Terms & Conditions and no variation thereof will be accepted unless agreed in writing with The Wolseley. Written confirmation (via email or post) will confirm acceptance of The Wolseley’s Terms & Conditions.

2. Interpretation
In these Terms & Conditions “The Wolseley” means The Wolseley Hospitality Group Limited, trading as The Wolseley Restaurant Ltd. and the “Client” means the person, firm or company using the pre-payment facility.

3. Law
These Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted according to English Law.

4. Pre-Authorisation
A pre-authorisation is a temporary hold of a specific amount of the available balance on a credit / debit card. The pre-authorisation is NOT a charge and you are not responsible for paying for it.

5. Confirmation
For a pre-payment of an entire meal, the Company will deduct £100 from the Client’s credit card. Once the guest(s) have dined in the restaurant the amount of their final bill, plus a 15% discretionary service charge, will be charged to the customer’s credit card. If you have any queries concerning your final bill, please contact us on reservations@thewolseley.com. If you wish to pre-pay for individual components of the meal, please refer to our current menu at www.thewolseley.com/menus for the current pricing.

Unless you state to the contrary, a discretionary service charge of 15% will be added to your final bill.

6. Cancellation
If the guest cancels the booking for which you have pre-paid the entire meal or a component thereof, we will not proceed to charge your credit card, will cancel the pre-authorisation and will send a confirmation email to that effect.

7. Service Charge
A discretionary service charge of 15% will be added to the Client’s bill on all consumable items.

8. Payment
All payments must be paid in pounds sterling and are subject to Value Added Tax at the current rate.
