Your access to the Website may be occasionally restricted to allow for repairs, maintenance or the introduction of new facilities or services. SALE OF GOODS TERMS
The terms below relate to goods supplied to you through the Website. All orders made through our Website and through our customer service and corporate sales team are subject to our Terms and Conditions.
Your order is an offer to buy from us. The contract will come in to effect when the money is debited from the customer’s account. At any point up until then, we may decline to supply the goods to you without giving any reason. At the moment that the order is placed, a contract will be made between you and us, and you will be charged for the goods.
Restrictions for alcoholic products
We can only sell alcoholic products to persons located in the UK and in selected European countries who are over the age of 18 years old. In accordance with the Licensing Act 2003 it is an offence to sell alcohol to an individual under the age of 18. By placing an order for alcoholic products you confirm that you are aged 18 years or over.
All products listed are subject to availability. If for any reason beyond our reasonable control, we are unable to supply a particular product, we will not be liable to you except to ensure that you are not charged for that product.
We have portrayed the products on our Website in the most accurate way possible, however, you may find that products ordered, particularly from the Antique Silverware may vary in appearance or dimension. This is due to the age and individual character of the products.
The prices payable for the products that you order are clearly set out on the Website. If, by mistake, we have under-priced a product, we will not be liable to supply that product to you at the stated price provided that we notify you before we dispatch the product concerned.
All products are subject to VAT (20%), excluding those being delivered to non-EU countries.
The prices on the Website are shown inclusive of this tax. Orders from the USA will have the VAT deducted from the purchase price, before payment is taken.
SHIPPING & HANDLING
We ship throughout the UK. We regret that due to regulatory constraints we are unable to ship any alcoholic products outside of Europe.
We aim to despatch all orders within 36 hours, depending on availability of products. We aim to deliver in line with the following delivery schedules:
Standard Delivery – within 5 working days
Next Day Delivery – orders must be placed before 3:30pm for next ‘working day’ delivery (note: orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be despatched on Monday for Tuesday delivery). Please note, this service is available at selected times only. Please see our delivery page for more information.
Europe (selected countries) – within 5-7 working days
USA & Canada – within 5-7 working days
All orders require a signature upon delivery. If the courier company is unable to obtain a signature, a calling card will be left and your parcel will be returned to your local carriers’ depot. To ensure secure and undamaged delivery of your order, our delivery company will not be able to leave your order ‘hidden’ at the address.
We work closely with our delivery partners to ensure the best possible shipping service however we regret that delays may occasionally occur which are outside our control. Whilst we make every effort to ensure your goods are delivered in accordance with the agreed delivery schedule, we will not be liable if we fail to do so in part or in full due to circumstances beyond our control.
We will take all reasonable care to deliver to the address given. However we will not be liable for non-delivery or mis-delivery as a result of incorrect data entry.
Vouchers are available for purchase online via our third-party partner Gift Pro. You will be required to choose which voucher option you would like to purchase and fill out the request form, as instructed to process the transaction. Our vouchers are individually printed and can therefore be customised with a personalised message. The content of the personal message remains the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Several options are offered for the delivery of your voucher including but not limited to: email for e-voucher, Royal Mail 1st Class and Special Day delivery for printed vouchers. There is a minimum order of £15 on the voucher value but it may be useful to refer to our menu page in order to gauge a suitable dining value. We endeavour to ensure that all vouchers are processed immediately by Gift Pro and emailed or sent to you depending on the option chosen.
Please note that our vouchers are for this purpose only and cannot be redeemed through any other means. Vouchers cannot be exchanged or transferred. All monetary vouchers orders placed on or after the 7th of October 2020 are valid for 24 months. Experience vouchers and voucher orders placed before the 7th of October 2020 are valid 12 months.

All our payment transactions for The Wolseley Shop are conducted through the secure payment services of SagePay Direct (“SagePay”). With security and service at the heart of the business, SagePay ensures that the transaction process is a safe and secure one.

Every transaction is encrypted to the highest global standards and once on SagePay’s systems, all sensitive data is secured beyond the levels demanded by the payments authorities and card schemes. SagePay’s systems are audited annually to ensure it maintains level 1 -the highest level – compliance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS). SagePay is also checked monthly and scanned quarterly by one of the world’s leading independent Qualified Security Assessors.

Your card issuer provides the right for you to dispute a transaction if the goods do not arrive or if the card was used fraudulently.
As a customer, you have the right to cancel your order at any time up to 14 working days after receipt of the goods.
Please contact our Customer Service team via email email@example.com to request a return. Items must be returned unused and in their original packaging within 14 working days. Perishable products (including food, beverages and hampers) cannot be returned except when the item(s) is defective. Your statutory rights will not be affected.
We advise the use of Recorded Delivery and the proof of postage service. All goods are returned at your expense. You are under a duty to take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession.
Following the receipt of the returned goods, payment will be refunded to you in full, excluding the cost of delivery. All returns will be processed by us within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.
Items purchased at The Wolseley Shop, Bicester Village must be returned to the store.
In the unlikely event that your goods arrive damaged or broken, please notify our Customer Service team via email firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of receipt.
We will then do our best to resolve the issue and ensure that you receive replacement products as quickly as possible.
