Dating back to the 1800s, the Old Fashioned has long been a favourite among cocktail connoisseurs. The beauty of an Old Fashioned lies in the simplicity of making one and it still reigns today as one of the most popular classics around.
50ml Woodford Reserve
1 brown sugar cube
1-2 dashes Angostura Bitters
1 dash Orange Bitters
Garnish: Orange Peel
Soak the sugar cube in angostura bitters, crush it on the bottom of a large rocks glass.
Add ice and the bourbon into the glass in stages.
Repeat the procedure until the sugar is melted.
Garnish with an orange twist.
